- WAC Cadre--An interdisciplinary group of seasoned WAC faculty helps guide this longstanding WAC Program. Members also serve as resources for their divisions: Ken Eichman, Math; Gene Fenster, Biology; Cathy Hardy, Music; Keet Kopecky, Biology; Matthew Westra, Psychology; Janet Wyatt, Math (WAC Cadre member emerita); Kathy Kiser, Speech (WAC Cadre member emerita).

Help us celebrate the 25th anniversary of our WAC Program!
The Writing Across the Curriculum Program at MCC-Longview is proud to be entering its 25th year. This anniversary represents a significant milestone for the MCC-Longview community and for WAC as this campus boasts one of the oldest continuous WAC programs in the United States.
Help us celebrate by participating in this blog, joining in our Fall 2010 read-along featuring Clay Shirkey's book Here Comes Everybody, attending a WAC (September) or WI workshop (spring), or visiting our student event on May 4, 2011, Imagination Longview.
This program is open to all full and part-time faculty in all disciplines and is built on collegial relationships throughout the college and with generous support from staff and administrators. As always, participation is entirely voluntary. We welcome you joining us for any or all of these activities.
